{"id":149,"date":"2018-12-27T17:50:00","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T17:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cipoml.net\/en\/?p=149"},"modified":"2018-12-27T17:50:02","modified_gmt":"2018-12-27T17:50:02","slug":"xxiv-plenary-of-the-icmlpo-the-icmlpo-resolutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cipoml.net\/en\/xxiv-plenary-of-the-icmlpo-the-icmlpo-resolutions\/","title":{"rendered":"XXIV Plenary of the ICMLPO the ICMLPO &#8211; Resolutions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resolution on Venezuela<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We Support the Venezuelan Workers\nand People Against the Imperialist Aggression<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the economic blockade imposed\nby the US, the EU and their lackeys, the social democratic policies\nof the government and the organizational weaknesses that still exist\nin the revolutionary movement, the Venezuelan people are undergoing a\ncomplex economic, social and political situation. This threatens to\nbecome aggravated for the popular masses unless there is a change of\ndirection towards a genuine revolution and popular democracy under\nthe direct leadership of the working class, peasants, commune members\nand the popular movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The international revolutionary\nmovement grouped around the ICMLPO is taking up the great challenge\nof supporting a people that faces immense imperialist powers. These\npowers are trying to appropriate its natural riches, placing the\nwhole weight of the crisis on the workers. For this reason and\nbecause of the justness of the struggle that our comrades are waging,\nwe stand with them with the deepest solidarity to support those who\nresist and fight in that country, under difficult conditions, in\norder to achieve victory in the current battles and preparing for\nthose that are to come, with a clear and consistent line of action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proletarian revolutionaries and\nother revolutionaries face the great challenge of organizing and\nleading the independent struggle of the proletariat and the people to\nconfront the crisis and provide a revolutionary perspective. In these\nefforts they have the support of the communists organized in the\nInternational Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and\nOrganizations, ICMLPO, of other revolutionary forces, of the workers\nand the peoples of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Long Live Proletarian\nInternationalism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>XXIV Plenary of the ICMLPO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mexico, November 2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resolution on Migrants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No to Repression, No to the\nCriminalization of Migrants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reactionary, racist, xenophobic\npresident Donald Trump has announced that the United States\ngovernment will close the borders with Mexico to prevent the migrants\ncoming from different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean\nfrom entering his country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With his fascist and racist\nrhetoric, he is accusing the migrants of being criminals and\nterrorists, of endangering the &#8220;security of the United States.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What threatens the safety of\nmillions of people around the world is war, aggression and looting.\nIt is U.S. imperialism, European imperialism, which with their\npolicies of war are provoking misery and increasing the flow of\nimmigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mass migration is a phenomenon that\nis taking place in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia. The\nimmigrants are fleeing from war, repression and misery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its origin is a consequence of the\nimperialist measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ICMLPO decisively condemns the\nracist, anti-migrant measures of U.S. imperialism. They are measures\nof misery and war against the workers and peoples of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ICMLPO struggles together with\nthe migrants and those who organize and stand in solidarity with\nthem, to uphold the rights of migrants and to protect them. We call\non the democratic and progressive sectors to add their voices and\nactions in defense of the rights of migrants and the right of all\nhuman beings to free movement.
