The Workers\u2019 Communist Party (Danish Arbejderpartiet Kommunisterne, APK) was founded at the Founding Congress held in Copenhagen on 20-23 April 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The APK Founding Congress adopted the general programme “Manifesto for a Socialist Denmark”, the programme of action “Together Against Capital” and the APK statute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim of the APK is to organise the working class as a class, to overthrow imperialism, to overthrow the bourgeoisie from power and to establish the state of the working class, i.e. a socialist Denmark under the rule of the working class, without exploitation and private ownership of the means of production. The ultimate goal is communism throughout the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organisational principle of the APK is democratic centralism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Historically, the APK is the product of the struggle to defend Marxism-Leninism against modern revisionism in Denmark from the 1960s onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Party-Founding Communist Organisation October (Oktober), which emerged after the 7th Congress of the Danish Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) (DKP\/ML) in 1997 and in the wake of the revisionist degeneration, played an important role in the preparation of the APK and was dissolved with the founding of the APK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The central organ of the APK is Kommunistisk Politik (Communist Politics), a daily internet edition www.kpnet.dk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The youth organisation of the APK is the Danish Communist Youth Union (DKU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
APK is a member of CIPOML.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
