A month has passed. Israeli Zionism, using the raid of the Palestine Liberation Organisations in the south of the occupied territories on 7 October as an excuse, has been continuing its deadly attacks on Palestine ever since.
Israel and the Western imperialists, the USA, the EU countries, especially Germany and France, Japan, Canada, Australia talk of an Israeli-Palestinian war. No! This is not a war. For more than 30 days the world has been witnessing Israel’s unilateral aggression and the massacre organised in cold blood. Especially in Gaza, it is a genocide!
The inhuman Zionist aggression against Gaza with aerial bombardment and missiles cannot be described with any other word. It is a genocide. Bombs and rockets are fired at women, children and civilians. The bombardment leaves no stone unturned. Houses where people live, schools, hospitals, mosques and churches under UN supervision, where they took shelter to escape the rockets, are bombed. Due to the Zionist ban and siege, the population is deprived of water, food, medicine and energy, especially needed by hospitals. The Palestinians, who have been reduced to the status of refugees in their own land and are clearly the target of genocide, are aimed to evacuate Gaza and abandon it to the Zionists.
The Zionist aggression, which has turned into genocide in Gaza, has spread to all Palestinian territories. In the West Bank, where hundreds of Palestinians have already been killed, Israeli cruelty knows no boundaries in Ramallah, Tulkarim, Nablus, el Halil and East Jerusalem. Refugee camps are the direct target of Israeli aggression. Curfews are imposed in many cities. Even going out on the balcony is forbidden. Arrests of Palestinians have already exceeded a thousand.
For us, as communists, our struggle for the liberation of the working class is nothing else, but the struggle for the liberation of all humanity, which is our ultimate goal. We do not recognise language, religion, colour or ethnic inequality, we fight against all inequalities. We are neither anti-Christian, anti-Islamic nor anti-Semitic. We do not condone Islamophobia and anti-Semitism. However, Zionism does not defend Judaism or Jews, it is a rabid racism. It is denying an oppressed people the right to live in their own land. It is oppression. It is bombs and rockets targeting people. It is tanks and cannons firing at civilians. It is prison, torture. It is synonymous with genocide.
Western states boast of being democratic, but they support the Zionist oppression that has reached the dimension of genocide by talking about “Israel’s right to defend itself”. And they even oppose the declaration of a ceasefire to deliver humanitarian aid! Biden goes so far as to claim that the Palestinians bombed the Al Ehli hospital by themselves. The so-called democratic hypocrisy has turned into the defence of genocide. Western peoples oppose the persecution of the Palestinian people and protest against Israeli aggression. Unfortunately, however, they are ruled by imperialists and reactionaries, enemies of labour and the people, enemies of humanity, who, like Zionism, cannot escape being consigned to the dustbin of history.
We celebrate the resistance of the Palestinian people.
While the Western imperialists approve and support Israeli Zionism and its genocide against the Palestinian people, we congratulate the working class and peoples of the world who stand up in defence of the Palestinian people and call on them to increase their support and impose a ceasefire on Zionism.
We call on all countries, especially Arab and regional countries that have normalised and are normalising their relations with the Zionists, to follow Bolivia’s path and cut their relations with Israeli Zionism.
Israeli attacks must be stopped immediately, the UN’s urgent ceasefire decision must be implemented!
The imperialists, with their ships and aeroplanes, should take their hands off Palestine
