For the eighteenth month, the armed conflict continues between the two branches of the former reactionary regime hostile to the revolution of December 2018 and its slogans, as well as to the Sudanese people and its revolutionary forces. A clash between the Sudanese armed forces supported by the Islamist brigades on the one hand, and the Rapid Support Forces on the other, both supported by imperialism and regional powers with the aim of further fragmenting Sudan and plundering its wealth.
The war has displaced more than 7.6 million people inside and outside Sudan. The death toll has exceeded 13,000 and 26,000 people have been injured throughout Sudan. 20 million Sudanese have lost their livelihoods and are suffering from starvation, tortured and many have been killed. A massive campaign of arrests is underway. Hundreds of factories have been destroyed, causing 250,000 workers to lose their jobs, thousands of traders have also completely lost their livelihoods and capital, and commercial activity has been interrupted by 70 percent.
The sides to the conflict are Russia, China, Turkey, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates, which intervene and support the armed forces allied to the Islamic Movement and their rapid support militias, which maintain the language of civil war, and which aim at the division and disintegration of the country in accordance with their interests through their practices of fuelling racism and regionalism.
