- Considering the political instability in Burkina Faso characterised by the two military coup d’etat mainly in January and September 2022 by the “Patriotic Movement for the Restore of State” (MPSR1, MPSR2).
- Considering the white terror introduced by the fascisation with legal system to liquidate the Revolutionary Democratic Movement and the Voltaic Revolutionary Communist Party (PCRV), member of CIPOML.
- Considering the settlement of repressive measures as the decrees on general mobilisations, state of emergency in the context of reactionary civil war and considering the development campaign and atmosphere of harassment against journalists, members of human rights organisations, banning attempts of democratic organisations (for example, the meeting of 31st October 2023 to celebrate the popular insurrection of October 2014)
- Considering the arrest and kidnapping of citizens by the squads, the assassinations of civil and military in complete impunity, the arbitrary arrest and detentions, for instance the attempt and kidnapping of the General Secretary of General Confederation of Labour of Burkina
The CIPOML in its 29th conference in October-November 2024
- Denounce the fascisation and the attacks against democratic freedoms in Burkina Faso,
- Demands the withdrawal of death squads and fascist groups supported by the military dictatorship,
- Express its international solidarity with the struggle of democratic and revolutionary movements, the Voltaic Revolutionary Communist Party, for individual and collective freedoms, democratic and social rights for people and youth.
